Technology and Cost Analysis of Page Sandpaper Abrasive Cloth Compound Treatment

Page sandpaper abrasive cloth is assembled and used on various tools. Abrasive cloth is becoming more and more popular and developing rapidly. It is mainly assembled on electric tools, pneumatic tools and manual tools. Tool-based emery cloth can not only improve grinding efficiency, grinding quality and abrasive cloth utilization, but also reduce labor intensity and make full use of edge and corner residues of sand paper and abrasive cloth. Assembled use will be the direction of future development and will play a positive role in promoting market demand.

At present, there are three basic forms of sand cloth for assembling in the market:

1. Mechanical clamping; 2. compound lambda nylon buckle; 3. non-sticking. In this paper, the production process and cost of the latter two methods are briefly analyzed.

1. Back composite wool fabric composite wool fabric needs adhesive and chemical fiber wool fabric. White latex and acrylic resin can be used as adhesives. In comparison, white latex has high bonding strength and will not delaminate in use. The use of self-adhesive process is simple, low cost  and it can also achieve good use effect.

2. The backside composite adhesive can reach the necessary strength according to the amount of coating of the test adhesive 120 G/square. The thickness of the silicone oil paper used for isolation is 70-90 G/square. The amount of adhesives used in pneumatic tools is large. Compared with the use effect and convenience, the adhesives are not as good as pulled wool sheets, but the cost is lower.
