For the users who often use waterproof abrasive paper, the drop of sand grains is their most troublesome problem, and also the most concerned problem of waterproof abrasive paper manufacturers. If the water sandpapers produced by the sandpaper supplier always drop sand, this is the quality problem of the products.
(1) What is viscous sand production? Synthetic fibers are used as raw materials and nonwovens are used to produce non-woven felt with certain thickness and high fluffiness. Then abrasives and adhesives are evenly sprayed on the non-woven felt. After drying, the abrasives adhere to the fibers by the action of adhesives to form sand felt with certain polishing ability.
(2) Specification requirements for adhering sand to waterproof abrasive paper
1. adhesive: this adhesive is different from the adhesive used to produce nonwoven felt. The former is emulsion adhesive and the latter is solvent adhesive. In order to make the abrasive bond with the fibers firmly, and because of the heat generated during the polishing process, the surface of the polishing wheel can reach as high as 150 ~ 180 ℃. Therefore, for adhesives, besides having good adhesion ability, they must also have high heat resistance. At present, modified phenolic resin, epoxy resin and polyurethane resin are commonly used abroad.
2. Adhesion: It is usually accomplished on special post-finishing compound equipment. In order to ensure the uniformity of abrasives on the product, the method of applying abrasives is particularly important. At present, powder spraying method is widely used. Its structure is a hopper with abrasives on the top. Under the hopper, there is a discharging roll with elastic clothing. The discharging roll rotates and the abrasives fall into the needle cloth evenly. On the side of the discharging roll, there is a vibrator with wire brush. The Abrasives falling into the needle cloth are peeled off by vibration and fall onto the non-woven felt.
